“Everything you can imagine is real.” ~ Pablo Picasso

November 2012. I was thinking of taking photographs and it was really cold outside. So I started looking at objects I could take pictures of that would be inside 🙂 I have had a collection of glass art for many years and wondered if I should photograph the glass. It looks really cool when you put light through it and I thought it would be fascinating to try and capture those colors.

One thing lead to another and I have many of these pictures now. Over the course of about 3 months I was consumed by light and color. I am still amazed at the range of colors and shapes that can be contained in a small glass ornament or decorative vase.

Many thanks to Garth Mudge of Glassworks in Winthrop Wa 98862 for providing such incredible art for me to photograph. If you are ever in this area you should stop by and visit his shop. I am always impressed with the beauty that he creates.

If you are interested in seeing more of my glass photographs I have many more of them in my Photographs of Glass Gallery.
