Butterfly Kisses is the name of this painting.
I love my garden and all of the creatures that reside there. From the beneficial insects to the floating beauties and the stinging pests. All of the animals and plants are in harmony and each has its purpose.
This type of butterfly, I am pretty sure is a Western Tiger Swallowtail. We have many of them floating around and I am always happy to see their bright bodies soar from flower to flower in search of nectar. This particular one is making a meal from a daisy. There are many to choose from in this flower bed and my little friend is not picky or monogamous. All blooms are tasted and enjoyed in a sometimes hasty but often leisurely pace.
Let your mind wander in the sweet caress of bright colors and brilliant white. Look closely and see the dreamy texture that I have painted all around my butterfly. I am inviting your senses to a visual treat as you see my fantasy garden slowly exposed. It is waiting for your imagination to take you on a wild ride as you see what is looking back at you.
