Climbing a Tree
I found this tree as I was walking in the park. The bark caught my attention and I stopped to look at it more closely. Then I looked up and realized that it would be really fun to climb. Not that I actually would climb it now, when I was a kid, but not now. There is something about climbing that I have always been attracted to. You get such a better view of everything when you scale the heights and see what is on top. Looking down on a landscape will give you a different perspective and challenge your illusions. Finding a new height and discovering a new challenge are both part of growth and development.
Not every tree needs to be climbed and not every challenge is worth taking on. When you find adventures that are worthy of further exploration, the world opens up and presents you with opportunities. Take care and venture slowly as you let your wisdom and experience guide you. The more hard work and careful planning you take the time for, the more likely you are to succeed. I have endured many challenges and welcomed many successes in my life. The ones that have really made a mark on me were the ones that I was capable of understanding and I was willing to work incredibly hard for. For me, at the end of the day, my really valuable rewards come from my best efforts and most careful planning.
