A red and yellow lily on a bright spring morning provides a bit of color to the day. Little blue forget me knots are playing around the edges of the scene hoping to catch some attention to themselves. I see rocks in the background lying in wait for the first person to come along and notice them as well. The green leaves provide sustenance to the bloom and a welcome compliment to the color scheme. I really love these lilies and look forward to them every year. The early spring is when they make their arrival and they are gone quickly. I decided to paint some of them in order to keep them around for a while longer. I hope you enjoy my abstract garden.
