A Cloudy Afternoon Abstract Landscape Painting

A Cloudy Afternoon Abstract Landscape Painting

I am looking to the sky in the spring and wondering just what it is that is looking back at me. I see an explosion of sunshine behind a very interesting looking cloud. This cloud reminds me of a flying hippopotamus. I see its large squarish face and massive body flying through the sky.  Where is this very large imaginary animal flying to and what will await it once it gets there? I love to look in the sky and imagine stories playing out on a big screen. What do you see in this painting, or is it just a landscape…. 🙂
