Pretty Pouting Pink Tulip
An interesting reminder indeed. Nature does not hurry and yet everything is accomplished. I have a difficult time keeping this in mind. I tend to want to get things done and move on to the next task. Hurry through life in search of what it is that I am supposed to be doing. The frantic pace of existence is overwhelming to me and yet I feel lost without chaos. Maybe that is one of the reasons why I love flowers so much. They don’t hurry and their purpose is to be. Not outwardly striving to get anywhere. Providing beauty and light to the world. Not asking for anything in return and existing for our visual pleasure and olfactory bliss.
I am particularly enjoying the various shades of pink in this Tulip from my garden. I love tulips because of their gentle curves and bell like shapes. They seem to be cupping sunshine in their petals and holding the rays of sunlight for us to enjoy 🙂
Love the soft pink of this tulip……you’ve given us a reminder of Spring to help through the long Winter. 🙂
