You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life. ~Albert Camus . . .

Water is the driving force of all nature. ~Leonardo da Vinci

Water Enigma Abstract River Artwork Waiting About To Entertain Reality Water is a constantly changing environment for the imagination to roam freely around. I can visualize any image I want to on the surface of water. It can be a reflection from the past or a new inroad onto an old idea. Some of my daydreams bring me closer to the space I am currently in and other times I am transported to a future that I am free to […]

We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end. ~Benjamin Disraeli

Pink Echinacea Garden Artwork I really LOVE flowers. I have taken thousands of photographs of them over the years and studied probably millions of them. I can’t pass by without noticing their vivid colors and captivating energy. When I look at a flower I am transported to the magic of its colorful life. A flower is a beginning and an end. When it is in full bloom, right around the corner is eventual demise. So the beauty is in the […]

Abstract Fairy House Garden Art I wandered around in a friends garden and found the most delightful objects and decorations. This particular photograph is of a ceramic Mushroom 🙂 I enjoyed finding it in the surrounding ground cover and the bright colors on the top really drew my attention. One of my favorite things to do is take pictures and then manipulate them with Photoshop and other software programs. There is a certain magic that happens for me when I […]

Look deeply into my eyes and you will see all of the secrets that I have to reveal. Look more closely and what will you find?

August 21, 2013 by owfotografik

Wild Eyes. The shades of green and pink in this photograph are really a lovely combination in my opinion. I really love the way that they blend into each other and yet have a unique place in the overall composition by themselves. They are working together to present an abstract realm to us. I imagine that I see a beautiful eye that is placed on a lovely animal. This magical creature sees things that we can only imagine and they […]

Come visit me in solitude and stay to enjoy the sound of the river flowing gently by as you absorb the stillness and peace.

July 28, 2013 by owfotografik

A Quiet Place I really enjoy parks and recreation and everywhere I go I look for the quiet place to enjoy the peace that nature offers up daily. This spot is a really cool example of a quiet place to sit for a minute and contemplate life. It is also an attractive lunch option if you bring a picnic. Many moments have been spent by the banks of the Methow River and summer days are enjoyed as the shade of […]

Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee ~Muhammad Ali

July 2, 2013 by owfotografik

I imagine that it takes much less energy to float than it does to sting. Floating is like being supported by a cushion of pillows. Stinging would be, to me, an angry action. So how much more pleasant to float than to sting. However it is much more effective at times to sting than to float. If you are being attacked you might want to at least defend yourself. I love the bright blue and wonderful contrasting colors of this […]

A Trio of Delicious Vertical Stimulation

July 1, 2013 by owfotografik

…… I am not sure if anyone can guess, but I love colors. I am experimenting with these bold colors in a new series I am trying. This series is designed to be long and bright. I am setting the sizes the exact same for vertical and horizontal so that these pieces could be hung together in a variety of combinations. I am excited by the new-found vertical pleasures that I am invoking with bold colors, layers and textures. Long […]

Look to the sky and what do you see….. Is there a correct answer for you or for me?

June 30, 2013 by owfotografik

In the beginning this image was a photograph that I took while my children were swimming in the local pool down in the park and I was wandering around with my camera. I am fascinated by clouds., and as I often do, I looked to the sky for inspiration.  I could look at them for hours and hours watching the scene change as the winds blow them here and there. Depending on the weather and whether or not you are […]
