The Red Seam, Mirrored Ovals on Royal Blue

A horizontal abstract made of overlapping orange, red and teal oval shapes arranged in a perfectly mirrored pattern. They sit on two pairs of royal blue panels, with a deep red column running down the middle and a red-orange border around the edge. The ovals have thin golden outlines and look glossy and swirled, while the blue areas look mottled and matte.

Someone wants this piece because it is built like a mirror: one red seam down the middle, and everything on either side answers it. The red and orange ovals glow against flat royal blue, with thin gold outlines that look like light behind stained glass. Most red-and-blue abstracts are loose or splashy. This one is ordered and balanced, and it still carries warmth and movement. It looks a little like a butterfly or a mask, and the viewer decides which. A homeowner with a bare wall and a cool or neutral room can picture it as the one strong colour statement.
