Ember Wings, Orange and Red Butterfly

Butterflies, Birds & Wildlife · horizontal

A symmetrical butterfly with open wings sits in the center of a plain cream background. Its wings are filled with an intricate pattern of dark maroon lines forming rose-like swirls, teardrop shapes and small bubble cells. The cells are colored in glowing oranges and reds with touches of yellow, green and blue-violet, which gives a stained-glass look. The slim body and thin antennae form a simple central axis.

Someone wants this one over the other orange butterflies because it is built like a jewel. A clean, perfectly balanced butterfly silhouette is packed with glowing orange and deep red cells and dark linework, all on a plain cream ground. It reads as a butterfly from across the room. Up close it turns into spirals, teardrops and tiny bubble-like cells that keep giving you something new. It is a warm, bold colour hit on a calm background, so it works for a buyer who wants colour without clutter.
