Ember and Lilac Pools - Translucent Color Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

Smooth, translucent shapes of orange, red, green, brown, lilac and pale blue-gray fit together across the frame like pools of liquid color. Thin bright lines trace the curved edges where the shapes meet, and the colors blend softly within each area. A red wedge hangs from the top right, an orange mound rises from the bottom, and a pink-violet area fills the right side. The overall look is glassy, luminous and flowing.

Someone stopped by this image wants a warm, glowing wall piece that is not a pattern or a landscape: amber, crimson, lilac and green pooled together like backlit liquid, with thin bright lines where the colors meet. The full spectrum sits side by side without turning loud, because the pale cool center bridges the warm and cool sides. It reads at once as colorful and as something to look into, with no recognizable subject telling the viewer what to think.
