Crimson Bud, Glossy Red and Amber Abstract

Abstract Glass Macro · horizontal

A close-up abstract of glossy, glass-like shapes in red, amber, green and blue. A thin stalk on the left holds up a rounded crimson bulb that curls to one side, and a curved amber form reaches in from the top. Pooled, shiny blobs line the bottom edge, and soft vertical bands of red and orange blur into a bright cream background. Light shines through the shapes and catches sharp highlights on their wet-looking edges.

Someone wants this piece for its glowing, jewel-like color and one unforgettable image: a thin amber stalk topped with a glossy crimson bulb that curls to one side like a drooping bud or a held drip. Sharp white highlights make the shapes look wet and bright against a luminous cream field crossed by soft bands of red and orange. It is playful and vivid, and it needs no explanation to be enjoyed. The calm pale center gives the saturated edges room to glow, which makes it a better pick than the many generic red abstracts.
