Lantern Drift - Purple Teardrop Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A close, abstract view of glossy, translucent shapes in saturated color. A narrow purple and magenta teardrop with tiny bubbles stands in the center, flanked by soft peach and red forms on the left and a green field fading to yellow on the right. Thin bright gold lines trace the edges where the shapes meet, and a deep blue shows at the far right edge. The surfaces look smooth and glass-like, lit from within.

Someone wants this piece for the colour and the glow. A narrow purple-magenta teardrop with tiny bubbles stands in the middle, lit from behind. Warm peach and red sit on one side, and green fading to yellow on the other. Thin gold lines trace every edge. It is saturated and warm without being busy. It has one clear place for the eye to land and then a slow diagonal drift to follow. Many colourful abstracts are a wash of blended colour. This one has a definite centre and clean, bright contours between its colour zones.
