Ember Script: Blue and Amber Swirl Abstract

A horizontal abstract filled edge to edge with swirling, liquid-looking color. Deep blues and violets on the upper left meet fiery oranges, ambers and reds on the right and bottom, with a pale yellow and lavender opening near the center. Curling tendrils, spirals and spiky white-gold shapes give the whole surface a sense of movement.

Someone wants this piece because the blue and the fire-orange meet in the middle and neither wins. Cool blue pulls back at the upper left. Molten amber pushes forward on the right and bottom. A pale yellow and lavender opening sits between them and looks lit from behind. Across the blue runs a band of spiky white-and-gold shapes that read like script. Most colourful abstracts are a pleasant wash of colour. This one has a clear focal event, and it rewards a longer look.
