Lantern Bud, Pink Flower and Blue Glass Vase

Botanical & Flowers · horizontal

Tall green stems rise from a blue glass vase, and a rounded pink-and-cream flower bud on a long curving stem hangs at the center in sharp focus. Behind it, a sunlit window scene dissolves into soft blue sky, green foliage, glowing yellow shapes and pale circular bokeh. A small pale bud droops over the vase rim at the lower left, and the glass catches streaks of blue, red and violet. The image has a smooth, painterly finish and a thin dark border.

A single glowing pink-and-cream bud, sharp and luminous, set against a dreamy blur of blue sky, bokeh circles and golden light, with a cobalt glass vase anchoring the corner. Plenty of flower pictures exist. This one is built around backlight and a calm green, blue and blush palette. The painterly sheen makes it feel closer to a still-life painting than a plain flower snapshot.
