Early Sunset on a Beaver Pond

Pacific Northwest Landscapes · horizontal

A still pond reflects a blue evening sky with soft pink clouds. Tall evergreens stand on the left bank, dry reeds and bare shrubs line the far shore, and a rounded grassy hill rises behind them. A fine textured, painterly finish covers the whole scene.

A hushed dusk pond whose glassy reflections of pink-streaked sky and dark pines are softened by a painterly canvas-like texture.
