Eye of the Swirl, Pink Flower

Botanical & Flowers · horizontal

A pink flower with ruffled, lilac-shaded petals and bright crimson stamens sits in the center of the frame. Behind it, orange, gold and green grass is twisted into a spiral swirl that circles the bloom. The flower is crisp and brightly lit while the background looks like streaky brushwork. The colors are saturated and warm against the cool pink.

A crisp, glowing pink flower sits perfectly still at the center of a whirlpool of orange, gold and green. The sharp petals and crimson stamens against the streaked, spinning background give it an instantly readable, playful focal point that ordinary flower close-ups lack. Someone wants it simply because it is vivid, surprising and fun to look at.
