Jewel Pool, Glowing Translucent Abstract

A horizontal abstract filled with glossy, translucent shapes in teal, ruby red, violet, cobalt blue and amber. Golden highlights trace the curved edges, and the shapes glow as if lit from behind. A pink and purple form sits near the center, with a small green shape beside it, while soft blurred areas surround the sharper detail. Tiny bubble-like specks and smooth gradients give the surface a glassy, liquid feel.

A collector wants this piece for the way color seems to be lit from inside. Overlapping teal, ruby, violet, cobalt and amber shapes glow like backlit glass, with golden highlights tracing their edges. Many colorful abstracts are flat or busy. This one has real depth and luminosity, and a clear focal point: a violet and pink form near the center edged in gold. Pure visual attraction to the color and light is reason enough to own it.
