Orange Ribbon Frame, Blue Teal Marbled Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A horizontal abstract of glossy, swirling bands of blue, teal and bright orange. A wavy orange ribbon runs around the edges and forms a loose frame, enclosing a dark blue square on the left and a larger panel of teal and blue ripples on the right. Small spirals and a vivid green curl add detail near the top and sides. The surface looks smooth and fluid, like marbled or poured color.

A buyer wants this piece for its bold, simple graphic idea: a wobbly ribbon of saturated orange-gold draws a loose frame around two cool blue and teal panels, so warm and cool colors hold a constant glossy tension. The swirling, marbled surface keeps the eye moving, and small spirals near the top and edges reward a closer look. It is not another generic blue abstract. The orange frame gives it a clear structure that reads from across a room. Attraction to the color and energy is reason enough to want it.
