Ember Lantern: Glowing Amber Oval in Burgundy and Blue

Abstract Glass Macro · square

A square close-up of glossy, rounded shapes that overlap like smooth petals or pebbles. Deep burgundy and rust-orange fill much of the lower half, while a large amber-gold oval with a bright edge sits right of center. Patches of blue, olive green and pale yellow glow around it. Tiny bubbles are scattered across the shiny surface, and the light seems to pass through the material.

A collector wants this piece for the single glowing amber oval, rimmed with bright light, that sits in a field of deep burgundy and cool blue. The tight square crop has no horizon and no obvious subject, so the eye settles on the luminous egg shape and then wanders over the glossy lobes, thin raised ridges and tiny trapped bubbles. Most warm abstracts in this category are flat color fields or loose swirls. This one offers a stained-glass glow, a clear focal point and a rich dark palette all at once.
