Ember Windows - Glowing Mirrored Ovals on Cobalt Blue

Two tall glowing ovals sit side by side in the center of a deep blue square, each ringed in golden yellow. Inside them, red, orange and yellow swirls flow down to bands of turquoise and blue, and the left and right ovals mirror each other exactly. Darker maroon and blue ovals sit above and below, completing a clover-like shape. The surface looks smooth and glossy with fine marbled lines, and the overall effect is rich, warm and symmetrical.

Two glowing, mirrored ovals filled with molten red, orange and yellow swirls sit against a deep cobalt blue square. The hot-against-cool contrast is the first thing you notice. The perfect left-right symmetry then holds all that motion still, and the eye keeps returning to the narrow gap between the two central ovals. Some people will see two faces or profiles looking at each other, and some will see only two lit windows. Either reading is a reason to keep looking. Most colourful abstracts are loose or scattered. This one is centred, balanced and dramatic.
