Facing Embers, Symmetrical Purple and Orange Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A horizontal abstract image of swirling purple, pink and orange shapes mirrored across the centre. Glowing yellow-orange whorls sit in the upper corners, and translucent ribbons of lavender and magenta fold down the sides around a dark blue open space in the middle. The shapes suggest two faces or profiles looking at each other, though nothing is literally depicted.

Someone wants this piece for its glow and its exact mirror symmetry. Purple, pink and orange swirl outward from a dark indigo centre, and the two sides lean toward each other until they read as two facing profiles, though nothing literal is shown. It is a colour-first piece for a buyer who wants a warm, luminous focal point with a bit of mystery, and who can picture it on a wall before reading a word.
