A horizontal abstract of swirling golden-yellow and amber ribbons with fine, repeating contour lines, like liquid marbling. The colored forms make two large, winding shapes divided by a channel of flat deep navy blue. Pockets of teal, turquoise, crimson and cobalt blue glow within the gold, mostly toward the lower right and center. The surface looks glossy and fluid, with folds and whorls throughout.

A collector wants this piece for the glowing gold. Marbled ribbons of amber and ochre twist through two large meandering shapes, with fine contour lines inside each fold, and a flat deep navy field runs between them. The warm, molten color against the dark ground is striking on its own, and the teal, crimson and cobalt flashes add a jewel-like surprise. The eye keeps travelling through the channels. Most gold or fluid abstracts lack the winding, maze-like layout and the dense, wood-grain-like line detail.
