A wide panoramic view of a still lake under a deep blue sky full of large, billowing white clouds. Tall evergreen trees line the right shore in warm sunlight, and a strip of dry tan shoreline and green grass runs below them. A bed of rounded gray and brown rocks fills the foreground, and the clouds are softly reflected in the calm water. A low, dark ridge of distant trees and hills sits along the left horizon.

Someone wants this piece for the sky. A huge, saturated cobalt sky full of sculptural white clouds sits over a perfectly still lake, with the clouds mirrored in the water and sunlit evergreens on the right bank. The very wide, low-horizon format gives a long blank wall a view with room in it, and the colour is strong enough to hold a large room. Plenty of lake-and-cloud pictures exist. Few pair this depth of blue with such crisp white clouds, a rocky foreground you could step onto, and a calm, glassy surface.
