Violet Crease, Lilac and Navy Abstract
Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal
Smooth lilac and mauve shapes curve across the frame and meet at a small crease near the center. Deep navy areas fill the upper left and right, and thin glowing lines edge the curves, including a coral-red line on the right. A small bright white highlight sits at the join above a pale wedge of mint and cream. The lower part of the image fades into soft peach and tan, and fine speckles dot the purple surfaces.
Someone wants this piece for its rich color and quiet glow. Smooth lilac and mauve forms rest against near-black navy and meet at one small crease with a single white spark. Many purple abstracts are busy or muddy. This one is spare, luminous and calm, and the eye goes straight to the tiny bright point where the curves converge. Visual attraction alone is reason enough to want it.
