Crimson Crossing, Red and Gold Mirrored Abstract

A symmetrical abstract pattern in saturated red, cobalt blue and gold. Liquid-looking swirls are mirrored left to right and top to bottom, forming a central cross shape surrounded by ornate folded forms. Blue spirals with white highlights sit in the corners and along the sides.

A collector wants this because it is a bold, saturated red, cobalt and gold abstract that is built with strict mirror symmetry, so it reads as ordered, ornate and alive at once. Most red and blue abstracts are loose and expressive. This one has a fixed centre (four red teardrop forms around a golden cross on blue) and glossy, liquid-looking swirls that ripple outward from it. It is for someone who wants strong colour and a wall that holds the eye from across the room, and who also likes to look closer once they are near.
