Violet Chamber, Luminous Color Fields

Abstract Glass Macro · horizontal

A horizontal abstract image of glossy, translucent shapes in saturated color. A deep blue field fills the left side and a red-to-orange form fills the right. In the center, a violet pool dotted with tiny specks is outlined by thin, wavy, glowing edges. Pink, yellow and magenta shapes surround it, and the colors look lit from behind.

A stranger scrolling past stops for the colour: deep cobalt blue on the left, saturated red and orange on the right, and a violet pool in the middle ringed by thin, bright, wavy seams. It looks lit from behind, like light passing through jewels or stained glass. Many colourful abstracts are flat or muddy. This one reads as translucent and glossy, with a clear place for the eye to land. Wanting it for the colour alone is reason enough.
