Quartet in Black, White and Red

Someone wants this piece because it is strict and soft at once. Four bold white, wavy-lobed shapes mirror each other exactly across the center. Black, red and smoky gray fill the spaces between them, and each field is outlined in thin black lines, so the image has a stained-glass-like look. A small red cross-like mark sits where the four quadrants meet, and the eye keeps returning to it. Most black, white and red abstracts are either loose and splashy or rigidly geometric. This one is symmetrical and orderly, but its curves are organic and the gray areas have a wispy, smoky translucency.
