Botanical & Flowers · square

Two small violas with deep purple upper petals and yellow lower petals marked with dark brown-red veining sit among bright green leaves. The background is dappled with shadow and pale, rocky or woody ground. The whole image has a swirling, oil-painted texture.

Two vivid purple-and-yellow violas glow against saturated green foliage, rendered with a swirling oil-paint texture that gives a familiar garden flower a richly painterly feel.
