Ember Oval, Mirrored Ribbon Abstract

Spiritual, Mandala & Symbolic · vertical

A tall oval filled with swirling ribbons of red, orange and yellow glows against a solid black background. The pattern mirrors itself top to bottom and left to right, with red V-shaped forms at both ends and a bright yellow looped shape at the center. A thin, muted multicolored border with a woven texture frames the black panel. The overall look is warm, balanced and ornamental.

A collector wants this piece for its glow. A tall egg-shaped oval of mirrored red, orange and yellow ribbons sits in a wide black field, so the color seems to light itself from within. It is formal and symmetrical, with red V-shapes at the top and bottom pointing toward a bright yellow knot of loops at the center. Many red-and-gold abstracts are loose or busy. This one is calm, balanced and ornamental, and pure visual attraction is reason enough to want it.
