Frosted Star Lily, Pink Swirl Floral

Botanical & Flowers · horizontal

A bright pink star lily opens at the center of the image, its six pointed petals radiating outward from a golden-orange core with small dark speckles. A second pink lily is partly visible at the upper right. Every petal is covered in small curling spirals, giving a whipped-paint look. The dark olive and brown background is filled with swirling paisley-like shapes in rust and chocolate tones.

A collector wants this piece for its look. A hot pink star lily glows against a dark olive-brown ground, and every petal is covered in tiny curling spirals that read like whipped paint or frosting. Most pink flower art is soft and photographic. This one is bold, playful and tactile in appearance, and the paisley-like swirls in the background make the bloom feel part of a decorative pattern.
