Joy in Jewel Tones, Marbled Word Art

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

The word JOY is written in tall, slender, hand-drawn capital letters with thick black outlines. A large heart with a smaller purple heart inside it sits at the upper left beside the J. Every shape is filled with swirling, marbled color in yellow, purple, blue, orange and green. The whole design sits on a clean white background.

A buyer wants this because it says JOY outright in tall, chunky, black-outlined letters filled with glowing marbled color. Most word art is flat lettering in one or two colors. Here every letter and both hearts hold their own swirling pattern in gold, purple, cobalt and orange, and the white ground keeps the whole word clean and bright. It is a cheerful, direct piece, and the color alone is enough reason to want it.
