Solar Ember: Twelve-Rayed Sun Emblem

Spiritual, Mandala & Symbolic · vertical

A sun-like shape sits at the center of a deep black background, built around a black-outlined oval with twelve curling, pointed rays. The rays and the center are filled with swirling orange, yellow, blue and pink color that looks like marbled liquid. The design is symmetrical, and a blue horizontal band runs through the middle of the oval. A thin blue border frames the whole image.

A collector wants this piece for its glow. Twelve curling, flame-like rays spin out from a black-ringed central oval. They are filled with marbled orange, yellow, blue and pink, and they seem to light up against a near-black ground. It reads as a bold sun or mandala-like emblem, with perfect mirrored symmetry and a fluid, liquid color surface. Most abstract sun or radial art is flat, pale or purely geometric. This one pairs a strong graphic silhouette with swirling marbled color and an almost luminous edge. Pure visual impact is reason enough to want it.
