Amber Rim - Brown Oval in Blue and Cream

A large rounded brown shape fills the center of the frame, with a thin amber edge and a faint diagonal line across it. Soft blue shapes sit at the upper left and lower right, a pale lavender-grey shape at the upper right, and the background is creamy and blurred. The surfaces look smooth and translucent, like glass, and a small jagged highlight runs down the right side of the brown form.

A large, warm brown oval that seems lit from within, with a thin amber rim, held between cobalt-blue shapes that melt into cream. Most brown-and-blue abstracts are flat or busy. This one is a single calm shape with a glowing edge, soft translucent surfaces, and one fine, fractured highlight to look at up close. A buyer with a neutral, warm room and a bare horizontal wall can picture it at once. The brown grounds the room, and the blue and lavender give it a cool counterpoint.
