Paper Flames, Red Bougainvillea and Turquoise Sky

Botanical & Flowers · horizontal

A cluster of papery red flower bracts on dark thin stems, with a few bright green leaves, is set against a blue and teal background. The background is blurred and streaked with golden yellow and green. The whole image has a smooth, painted look with soft glowing outlines.

A stranger wants this one for the red against the turquoise. Papery red bracts glow like enamel or stained glass against a saturated blue-teal sky, and the painted surface keeps the flowers from looking like a snapshot. It is a bold, warm, colour-first floral for someone who wants a wall to carry colour, not another soft pastel bouquet.
