Ember and Tide, Red and Teal Abstract

A close-up abstract made of smooth, translucent shapes in warm red-orange on the left and cool teal and blue on the right. A green teardrop-like form hangs down the centre, bordered by a pale blue curve. Tiny bubbles are scattered across the glossy surfaces, and bright edge reflections run along the sides. The whole image glows as if lit from behind.

A colour contrast that stops you: a rust-red diamond on the left and a teal drop on the right, meeting along one bright seam. Everything is glossy, translucent and lit as if from behind, with tiny bubbles caught in the surfaces. Plenty of red abstracts and teal abstracts exist. This one puts both temperatures in a single frame and still feels calm. The shapes are cropped tight, so there is no horizon or object to read, and the eye keeps moving between the drip, the bubbles and the edge highlights. Someone who wants colour first and explanation second can buy it for the look alone.
