Cobalt Gust, Blue and Amber Streaks

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A horizontal abstract of swirling blue, teal and green streaks sweeping diagonally from the upper left, with bright amber-orange accents scattered through them. On the right is a smooth, deep cobalt-blue area with a few small marks and faint curved lines. The lower center turns dark and speckled, with thin vertical streaks running down toward a green and pale-blue lower edge. The surface looks glossy and glass-like, with fine scratch-like lines throughout.

A collector wants this piece for the contrast between a dense, energetic sweep of feather-like streaks and a calm, smooth cobalt field. The cool blues, teals and greens carry small amber and gold glints, and the surface looks glossy and glass-like with fine etched lines. It reads as a current or gust caught mid-motion, and the pull is purely visual.
