Amber Iris, Abstract Glass Close-Up

A tightly cropped oval of glossy, rippled glass glows yellow and orange at the center. Rings of blue, teal, purple and silver surround it, and the outer edges fade into warm brown. The whole shape resembles an eye, with light shining through the folds and ridges.

A stranger stops because it looks like an eye: a glowing amber center inside nested rings of cobalt, teal and violet. Then they find it is an abstract close-up of glass. That mix of an instantly readable form and an unexpected reveal is what sets it apart from the many colourful abstracts and glass pictures in the same category. The saturated colour is a fully valid reason to want it on its own.
