Cobalt Seam - Mirrored Blue Glass Tile Abstract

Two mirror-image vertical panels show a grid of square glass tiles in saturated cobalt blue, pale aqua and icy clear glass. Each tile has a surface of small raised bubble-like circles, and dark brown-black lines separate them. The grid curves and warps slightly, so the rows seem to bulge outward. A narrow dark blue strip divides the two halves, and the outer edges fade into deep blue shadow.

Someone wants this piece for its saturated cobalt glow and its strict mirror symmetry. Two matching panels of bubble-textured blue glass tiles sit either side of a dark central seam. The tiles look lit from within against near-black grid lines. The grid bows outward as if wrapped around something rounded, which keeps the order from feeling rigid. Plenty of blue abstracts exist. Few combine a jewel-like glow, a pebbled glass surface and a calm doorway-like symmetry in a vertical format.
