Amber Tide in Cobalt, Translucent Abstract

A close-up abstract of translucent, glass-like color. Deep cobalt blue fills the upper left and bottom, while glowing amber, orange and gold sweep through the center. Green, teal and yellow areas fill the right side, crossed by a dark diagonal line and a purple-orange band. Fine ripples, a rust-colored crackle strip and a few tiny bubbles add detail to the glossy surface.

Someone wants this piece for the way it glows. Deep cobalt blue and molten amber gold sit side by side, as if light is passing through thick, translucent layers. Most colorful abstracts are flat or busy. This one has real depth, with glossy curved bands, bright white glints on the ridges, a rust-brown crackle strip, and a few tiny bubbles that make the surface feel like glass. It is a jewel-toned, warm-against-cool image that works on looks alone, with no backstory needed.

The story of this pieceCobalt Blue and Amber Gold, Glowing Like Light Through GlassDeep cobalt and glowing amber seem lit from behind in this glossy, glass-like abstract, and a few tiny bubbles give the translucence away.
