Rose Aglow, Ruffled Magenta Rose

Botanical & Flowers · vertical

A single bright pink-magenta rose with layered, ruffled petals sits at the center of the image. Soft, blurred green leaves and stems surround it. The whole image has a gentle painterly look with a fine canvas-like grain.

A single rose, close and full, that reads as a portrait of one flower rather than a bouquet or a pattern. The saturated magenta glows against a cool, deep green blur, and the ruffled petals look like they were laid down with a brush. Someone wants this one over the many pink roses online because of that glow and the soft, grainy, painterly finish. It stays romantic without turning sugary, because the dark green holds the pink in check.
