Still Water Retreat, Turquoise Pool and Timber Lodge

Travel / Specialty / Projects · horizontal

A curved turquoise swimming pool sits on a stone patio ringed by a wooden railing and empty lounge chairs. On the right stands a large wood-shingled lodge with many windows and a covered porch. Tall pine trees rise on the left and in the center, with hazy mountains behind them under a pale sky. Lavender-colored flowers and green shrubs fill the foreground, and the whole scene has a soft, painterly finish.

A calm, cool-toned scene a buyer can picture stepping into: a glowing turquoise pool curving through pines, lavender-toned plants and a timber lodge. It is a representational image that reads as a quiet place to rest, not generic 'pool art'. The wide curving lens and soft painterly finish make it feel like a remembered place, and the turquoise is a strong colour match for someone building a room around blue-green. Nothing about the place is claimed, so the appeal is purely what the eye sees.
