Molten Gold, Lavender Swan

A white swan with a gracefully arched neck sits at the center of the image. Its body is shaded in lavender, cream and pale blue. Around it, swirling ribbons of yellow and gold fill the sky, and deep blue, teal and green fill the water below, all with a smooth, melted look.

A swan you recognise at once, made of pearly lavender and white swirls and set between a molten gold sky and rippling blue-green water. Most swan art is a calm, realistic bird on a pond. Here the bird is the quiet centre of a liquid, moving world, and the strong yellow and blue gives a wall a clear colour direction.
