Amber Eye in Cobalt Glass

Abstract Glass Macro · horizontal

A large teardrop shape with a brown and amber interior sits inside bands of deep cobalt blue and bright yellow-green. At its center is a pale, glowing oval edged with tiny beads, like an eye. Fine streaks of amber, cream and teal fan out from it, and small bubbles are scattered through the glassy surface. The overall look is saturated, translucent and lit from within.

Someone wants this piece for the glowing, eye-like oval at its center. A pale, bead-rimmed, translucent core sits inside an amber teardrop, with streaks radiating out through bands of deep cobalt blue and chartreuse. Most abstract color pieces have no focal point. This one has a bright point the eye locks onto, and the blue and yellow-green around it make the glow look lit from within. Pure visual attraction is reason enough: it is saturated, luminous and slightly watchful.
