Lantern Window, Glowing Abstract Swirl in Green and Gold

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · square

A square abstract artwork with a bright, swirling center panel set inside a wide, dark brown border. The panel is filled with glossy, flowing ribbons of green, teal, gold, orange and red, with pale cream and silver streaks curving down the right side. A deep crimson round shape sits at the lower left. The border is mottled and softly textured, with faint swirling patterns that echo the movement in the center.

A collector wants this piece for the way it glows. The center looks lit from behind, like light through colored glass, and it sits inside a dark, softly marbled brown border that makes the color feel like a window into something luminous. Green, teal, gold and a touch of crimson swirl together in glossy ribbons. Plenty of abstracts have swirling color, but few set it so deliberately as a lit picture-within-a-picture. The pull is visual: warm, rich and absorbing.
