Amber Gaze - Mirrored Abstract in Jewel Tones

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · vertical

A tall, perfectly mirrored abstract is divided by a thin dark vertical line down the center. Each half holds a large golden-amber oval with a deep purple and blue hollow at its heart, surrounded by rippling bands of emerald green, teal and cobalt blue. The surface looks like flowing liquid color, with feathery, flame-like edges and glowing yellows against darker browns. The overall effect is a bold, jewel-toned pattern that can suggest eyes, a mask or peacock feathers.

Someone wants this piece for its hypnotic mirrored pairing: two glowing amber ovals, each with a violet-blue hollow at its heart, split by a thin dark line and set in emerald, teal and cobalt bands. The jewel-tone palette and the eye, mask or peacock-feather impression make it a bold, symmetrical statement piece, and many abstracts in the category never offer that. Pure visual attraction is reason enough to choose it.
