Moss and Ember, Translucent Green and Coral Abstract

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A close-up abstract of smooth, translucent shapes in glowing green and coral-orange. Rounded green fields sit in the upper left and lower right, separated by a curving band of salmon pink. Thin dark lines outline the folds, and a small ringed, bubble-like detail sits near the center. Fine speckles and hairline creases add subtle texture to the glassy surface.

A collector wants this piece for its glow. Smooth, translucent folds in olive and moss green are cut by a diagonal ribbon of coral and salmon that looks backlit. A single small ringed pocket near the center works like a bubble or a tiny eye, and the eye keeps returning to it. Green and coral is an uncommon pairing within calm abstracts. The warmth reads as rich rather than loud, and the piece needs no explanation to be enjoyed.
