Wolf Creek Afternoon Light

Pacific Northwest Landscapes · vertical

A forest path of pale gravel and rounded stones leads into a bright stand of yellow-green trees. A tall pine with rust-red bark stands on the right, and its drooping, lichen-covered branches arch across the top of the scene. The whole image has a swirling, painterly texture.

A sunlit forest trail seen through a lacy arch of drooping pine branches, rendered with swirling, painterly texture that makes the stones, bark and foliage feel almost brushed on.
