Ember Window, Glowing White Lines and Spiral Roses

A square image packed with thin white lines that form a mesh of triangles and fan shapes across the whole surface. Six rose-like spirals, each inside an oval, sit among the lines, with a trunk-like form rising from the bottom center. Warm burnt orange and rust red dominate, with touches of yellow, blue and teal showing through the gaps. The white lines glow softly, so the piece looks like backlit stained glass.

A collector wants this because the glowing white line work sits over warm burnt orange and rust, so it reads like backlit stained glass. That is a different thing from the many flat geometric or floral patterns in the same category. It is intricate enough to hold your attention up close, and its single strong colour temperature makes it easy to picture on a wall. Pure visual attraction is reason enough to want it.
