Sunlit Emblem, Mirrored Abstract in Yellow and Green

Contemporary Abstract & Mixed Media · horizontal

A symmetrical abstract in which marbled swirls and curling tendrils are mirrored left to right around a glowing yellow and orange center. Dark olive green and brown shapes spread in from the left and right edges. Teal, coral and cream accents appear throughout, and small dark curls sit in the corners. The surface looks smooth and fluid, with fine veined lines running through the colors.

A collector wants this piece for its exact mirror symmetry and the glowing yellow-orange core, which reads like a light source at the center of an ornate, almost heraldic pattern. The dark olive and chocolate side masses frame that light with strong contrast, and the marbled, liquid curls keep the whole thing flowing rather than rigid. Plenty of abstracts are colorful or swirly. Few are this balanced, this warm and this clearly built around a single luminous center. Visual attraction alone is reason enough to choose it.
