Glossy, translucent shapes in red, orange, amber, teal and deep blue overlap against a pale cream-yellow background. Warm light glows through the red and amber forms, and bright highlights catch on small bubbles and wet-looking edges. The lower left has a fine golden speckle, and the edges of the frame fall into soft blur. The overall look is liquid, colourful and abstract, with no identifiable scene.

Someone wants this piece for its glow. The red glass at upper center looks lit from behind and carries a crisp, wet-looking edge, a speckled interior and tiny bubbles. Warm reds, oranges and ambers melt toward the cool teal and cobalt on the right and fade into soft cream-yellow. Many glass abstracts are cool, symmetrical or busy. This one is warm, saturated and slow-moving, and it has one sharp focal point that holds the eye while the rest dissolves into blur. The pure visual pull is reason enough to want it.
